Love the blog Sky!
Sky, I am watching the history channel and the story of your father Popcorn. I am so familar with Maggie Valley as my parents live in Sylva. I would like to order a copy of the book but on Amazon it is showing 300.00 and then 35.00 but not from Regina, can I order from you directly still?
Thanks Scarlett
Yes, my book is still available through me. :) I'll look into the amazon listings to find out where the proper listing for the other book is. THank you for your interest! :)
Hi - I am certainly glad to discover this. Good job!
Tremendous work! You own the talent of writing beautifully. I personally liked the summarization especially the perfect drafting of brilliant ideas. And yes i have bookmarked your site popcornsutton.blogspot.com .
Ms Sutton, I watched the story of your father and wished that I could have met him. What I wouldn't give to be able listen to his stories and sipping some likker. You must have had a very interesting childhood.
Sky - Can you tell me what "Daddy Moon shine" is about? Would like some sort of reading matierial on your daddy - but the $100 pricetag on Amazon for his book is a bit pricey for me. Do you still have it available? Any other memorabilia?
Thanks -
Kendell
Hey, Kendall~
Thank you for your interest. There are lots of entries in this blog to give you an idea of the story: lots of booze and plenty of wilds rides.

So far as other memoribia I can't say I've got any- except the "Popcorn for President 2012" coffee mugs that I've been painting...not sure what to do with those...exploring my father through art like any other curious creature... ;)

Hi! How do I purchase some of your fathers moonshine legally? I read you can purchase it online yet I can't find anything?
Your father seemed like a great person. It would be a honor to buy some of his white whiskey!!
I like to be forthright about the new "Popcorn" likker. It's backed by Hank Williams Jr.. I am unaware of which recipe he's using. I know Popcorn didn't build the still and since he's dead I'm pretty sure he's not running the shine. ;) If he's dead and doesn't have a hand in it how can it be "Popcorn's"? I think it's just a name on a jar. I have no idea where to buy it. None of the Sutton blood relations are involved in it.
Hello Sky, I recently read an interview with your father where he mentions his grand dad "little Mitch Sutton" I am very interested in his lineage since that name runs through my family. My great great grand dad, Mitchell Sutton lived in Jackson County. Ancestry.com doesn't show any connection to a Mitchell Sutton. Can you point me to a source? Thanks!
Is the book still available? I am interested in getting a copy.
Yes, the book is available. :)
I ordered the Mason jar lids the other day, and my father ordered "Daddy Moonshine" for me as a gift today, I was curious about how long shipping takes via PayPal once payment has cleared?
The jar tops usually take a little under a week and the books take a little over a week. :)
Thanks Sky!
Can't believe I actually got a reply from a legends daughter! I'm doing everything I can to learn anything and everything about your father. It inspires me to hear a story with so many things that could've gone wrong, but he had the heart and courage to continue on! Your father is my hero.
Thanks again!
Seth.
@Mitch Sutton: sorry for the delay in reply. So far as hunting for Sutton's I found a book by a man named Bruce Sutton that has been useful. Mostly it's a lot of hunting around on-line and collecting family stories: trying to decide what may be accurate and what may not. If you find any good sources please let me know. :)
